The Housing Help Center was created to help Atlanta’s most vulnerable residents. Below, we've answered some of the most common questions to help understand how we can work with you.

What are the Housing Help Center’s hours of operation?

The Housing Help Center is generally open from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.  However, navigators will schedule appointments outside of business hours to accommodate residents.  

How can I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment, please complete the intake form on our website.  A navigator will review your intake form and respond within two business days.

How can I reach the Housing Help Center?

The Housing Help Center operates by appointment. To complete a request for an appointment, complete an intake form on our website at www.HousingHelpCenter.com. If you need assistance with the application, or do not have access to the website, you can call 311.  Our office is located on the first floor of 2 Peachtree Street near the 5 Points MARTA station downtown.  Our navigators offer flexible appointment times to work with resident schedules.

I need help completing the intake form.  Can I do this over the phone?

Yes, you can request assistance by calling (404) 492-7640 and leaving a message. Our staff will reach out to assist you.

I called 311 and visited the website and was instructed to complete the intake form.  How long will it take to receive a call back?

Our navigators review intake forms daily, and we typically return calls within 7 to 10 business days or sooner.

Who is eligible for assistance at the Housing Help Center?

Personalized navigation assistance from the Housing Help Center is prioritized for
households at or below 60% of area median income, approximately $43,000 for a 1
person household, or $62,000 for a household of 4 residing within Atlanta city limits.
However, the Housing Help Center website contains resources for all housing and
housing-related programs available to City of Atlanta residents. Programs may have
individual eligibility requirements; however, anyone can browse the resources and
contact external program administrators directly to confirm eligibility.

What kinds of assistance can the Housing Help Center provide?

The Housing Help Center partners with a variety of non-profit organizations in Atlanta to connect residents with emergency relocation, rental and utility assistance, legal aid, eviction diversion programs, code enforcement help, and other forms of assistance.

Is the Housing Help Center run by the City of Atlanta?

Yes, all of the Housing Help Center navigators and staff are City of Atlanta employees.
